Odds and Sods
Nov. 19th, 2010 09:43 amYeah, I really do need to update this more often.
Been playing a lot of Call of Duty:Black Ops recently. Which means I've been neglecting LoTRO and Bad Company 2. Why must they make video games so good? Have most of my Christmas shopping done, which is very hard on a reduced budget. I know what to get, just can't afford it. Maybe I should add a Paypal button for donations :)
Still no luck on the jobfront, this is hard on the mind and body when you have mild depression. Getting out of bed does require a conscious effort. Last month I was managing 7-730 am starts , but then the time change screwed everything up again! I am slightly miffed at my case worker, trying to recover travel costs from July.
Speaking of July, I had LASIK surgery done on my eyes, thanks to a generous donation by my aunt Agnes , may she rest in peace. I would recommend this to anyone who wears glasses. No more fumbling for glasses when you wake up, no looking for contact solutions, no more poking myself in the eyes with the contacts. But I still go to the washroom at 10 pm to take them out, even though it's 4 months later. Guess a 15 year old habit is hard to break.
